Born in Missouri, Lee was schooled in Detroit, Michigan and on the shores of Lake Erie in  New York  State.

From March 1943 to November 1967 he served in the  Army Air Force,  in World War Two and in the USAF in Korea and  Vietnam.

His military career took him through the South Pacific, the Philippines, Guam, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand,  all of  South America and Europe. Lee has also traveled all fifty of the United States.

After retiring from the Air Force he was the managing director of an inport-export firm and later owned and operated a  real estate firm with two offices.

Lee has written several short stories and is presently working on a new suspense novel set in the Midwest and Tokyo, Japan.

Lee and his wife live west of Phoenix near Luke Air Force Base (Fightertown USA) and continue to travel worldwide.
